EXODUS. The glary of God appeaxethi

20 Behold, I fend an Angel before 4And Mofes wrote all the words of thee, to keep thee in the way, and to the LORD, and rofe up early in the bring thee into the place which I have morning, and builded an altar under prepared, the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Ifrael.

21 Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your tranfgreffions: for my name is in him.

5 And he fent young men of the chil dren of Ifrael, which offered burne offerings, and facrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.

25 And ye fhall ferve the LORD your God, and he fhall blefs thy bread, and thy water; and I will take fick nefs away from the midst of thee. 26 There shall nothing caft their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

27 I will fend my fear before thee, and will deftroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.

28 And I will fend hornets before thee, which fhail drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.

29 I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; left the land become defolate, and the beaft of the Seld multiply against thee.

30 By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increafed, and inherit the land.

7 And he took the book of the cove nant, and read in the audience of the peopie: and they said, All that the LORD hath faid will we do, and be obedient.

8 And Mofes took the blood, and fprinkled it on the people, and faid, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD bath made with you concerning all these words.

9Then went up Mofes,and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and feventy of the elders of Ifrael:

10 Andthey faw the God of Ifrael: and there was under his feet as it were Ja paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in bis clearness.

II And upon the nobles of the chil dren of Ifrael he laid not his hand: alfo they faw God, and did eat and drink.

12 And the LORD faid unto Mofes, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of ftone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayeit teach them.

13 And Mofes rofe up, and his minifter Joshua: and Mofes went up. into the mount of God.

14 And hetald unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.

31 And I will fet thy bounds from the Red fea even unto the tea of the Philistines, and from the defert unto 15¶ And Mofes went up into the the river: for I will deliver the inha-mount, and a cloud covered the bitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee. 32 Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.

34 They fhall not dwell in thy land, left they make thee fin against me: for if thou ferve their gods, it will furely be a fnare unto thee.


ND he said unto Moles, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and feventy of the elders of Ifrael; and worship ye afar


2 And Mofes alone fhall come near the LORD: but they fhall not come with; neither fhall the people go up with him.

3¶And Mofes came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people fwered with one voice, and faid, All the words which the LORD hath faid, will Ave do སྱཱ ཨཱཙཱི...


16 And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it fix days: and the feventh day he called unto Mofes out of the midst of the cloud.

17 And the fight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring tire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Irael.

18 And Mofes went into the midft of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Mofes was in the mount forty days and forty nights. CHAP. XXV.

ND the LORD fpake unto Mofes,


2 speak unto the children of Ifrael; that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye fhall take my offering

3 And this is the offering which ye fhall take of them; gold, and fiver and brass,

7 Onyx ftones, and ftones to be fet in the ephod, and in the breaftplate. 8 And let them make me afanctuary, that I may dwell among them.

9 According to all that 1 fhew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the inftruments thereof, even fo fhall ye make it. 10 And they thall make an ark of fittin-wood: two cubits and a half all be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

II And thou halt overlay it with pure gold; within and without fhalt thou overlay, it: and fhalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.

12 And thou thait ca four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four Curaers thereof; and two rings ball be in the one fide of it, and two rings in the other fide of it.

13 And thou fhalt make staves of hittim-wood, and overlay them with gold.

14 And thou shalt put the ftaves into the rings by the fides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.

15 The ftaves fhall be in the rings of the ark; they fhall not be taken) from it.

26 And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the feur corners that are on the four feet thereof.

27 Over against the borders fhall the rings be for places of the ftave to bear the table.

28 And thou shalt make the staves

of hittim-wood, and overlay then with gold, that the table may be borne with them.

29 And thou shalt make the difes thereof, and spoons thereof, and cou vers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold fhalt thou make them.

30 And thou shalt fet upon the table thewbread before me alway. 31 And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure guld: of beaten work fhall the candleftick be made: his fhaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, fhall be of the fame.

32 And fix branches fhall come out of the fides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one fide, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other fide:

33 Three bowls made like unto al monds, with a knop and a flower in one branch'; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch with a knop and a flower: fo in the fix branches that come out of the

21 And thou fhalt put the mercy at above upon the ark; and in the ark thou fhait put the teftimony that I fall give thee.

35 And there ball be a knop under two branches of the fame, and a knop under two branches of the fame, and a knop under two branches of the fame, according to the fix branches that proceed out of the candlestick.

36 Their knops and their branches fhall be of the fame: all of it shall be one beaten work of pure gold."

37 And thou shalt make the feven lamps thereof: and they hall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it.

38 And the tongs thereof, and the fnuff-difhes thereof, ball be of pure gold.

and every one of the curtains fhall tabernacle, on the north fide, there have one measure. Jhall be twenty boards,

3 The five curtains fhall be coupled together one to another; and other five curtains fall be coupled one to another.

21 And their forty fockets of filver; two fockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.

22 And for the fides of the tabernacle weftward thou fbalt make fix boards. 23 And two boards fhalt thou make the corners of the tabernacle in the two fides.

4 And thou fhalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the felvedge in the coupling; and like-for wife fhalt thou make in the uttermoft edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the fecond.

24 And they fhall be coupled together beneath, and they hall be coupled together above the head of it unto one ring: thus fhall it be for them both; they fhall be for the two corners.

5 Fifty loops fhalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops fhalt thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second; that the loops may take hold one of another. 25 And they fhall be eight boards, 6. And thou shalt make fifty taches and their fockets of filver: fixteen of gold, and couple the curtains toge-fockets; two fockets under one board, ther with the taches: and it fhall be and two fockets under another board. one tabernacle. 26 And thou shalt make bars of fhittim-wood; five for the boards of the one fide of the tabernacle,

7 And thou fhalt make curtains of goats beir to be a covering upon the tabernacle: eleven curtains fhalt thou make.

8 The length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and the eleven curtains ball be all of one meafure.

9And thou shalt couple five curtains by themfelves, and fix curtains by themfelves, and fhalt double the fixth cartain in the forefront of the tabernacle.

27 And five bars for the boards of the other fide of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the fide of the tabernacle, for the two fides weft ward.

28 And the middle bar in the midft of the boards fhall reach from end to end.

29 And thou shalt overlay the hoards with gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars: and thou shalt overlay the bars with gold.

14 And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams hins dyes! red, And a covering above or baugers tkins. 15 And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of hittim-wood Standing up..

31 And thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and fearlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubins shall it be made:

32 And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of fhittim-wood overlaid with gold: their hooks all be of gold, upon the four fockets of filver."

33 And thou fhalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayeft bring in thither within the vail the ark of the teftimony: and the vail fhall divide unto you between the holy place and the mott holy,

34 And thou fhalt put the mercy feat upon the ark of the teftimony in the most holy place.

5 And thou fhalt put it under the Cumpafs of the altar beneath, that the net may be even to the midst of the altar

6 And thou fhalt make ftaves for the altar, staves of thittim-wood, and overlay them with brass.

7 And the ftaves fhall be put into the rings, and the ftaves fhall be upon the two sides of the altar, to bear it.

8 Hollow with boards halt thou make it: as it was thewed thee in the mount, fo fhall they make it.

99 And thou shalt make the court of the tabernacle: for the fouth lide fouthward there foall be hangings for the court of fine twined lines of an Dundred cubits long for one fide!

10 And the twenty pillars thereof and their twenty fockets all be of brafs; the hooks of the pillars, and their fillets fall be of filver.

Aaron's garments.

20 Andthou fhalt command the chil dren of Ifrael, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light to caufe the lamp to burn always.

21 In the tabernacle of the congre gation without the vail, which is before the teftimony, Aaron and his fond hall order it from evening to morning before the LORD: it ball be a ftatute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Ifrael,


ND take thou unto thee Aaron

thy brother, and his fons with him, from among the children of Ifrael, that he may minifter unto me in the prief's office, even Aaron Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Itha mar, Aaron's fons.

2. And thou shalt make holy gar ments for Auron thy brother, for glory and for beauty.

3 And thou shalt fpeak unto allyba are wife hearted, whom I have filled with the fpirit of wifdom, that they may make Aaron's garments to con fecrate him, that he may miniftet. unto me in the priest's office.

4 And these are the garments which they fhall make: a breaftplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle and they fhall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his fons, that he may minister unto me in the prieft office:

19 All the veffels of the tabernacle in all the fervice thereof, and all the piss thereof, and all the pins of the cort ball beef brate.

9 And thou shalt take two onyk tones, and grave on them the name of the children of lfrael:

10 Six of their names on one ftone and the other fix names of the rest on the other ftone, according to their birth.

II With the work of an engrayer In tone, like the engravings of a fignet, halt thou engrave the two ftones with the names of the children of Ifrael; thou fhalt make them to be fet in ouches of gold,

12 And thou hatt pat the two ftones upon the shoulders of the ephod for tones of memorial unto the children, of Ifrael; and Aaron fhall bear thele names before the LORD upon his two thoclders for a memorial.

13 And thou thalt make ouches of gold:

18 And the fecond row shall be an emerald, a fapphire, and a diamond. -19 And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an ainethy ft.

20 And the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jafper: they shall be fet in gold in their inclofing.

21 And the ftones fhall be with the names of the children of Ifrael, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a fignet; every one with his name hall they be according to the twelve tribes.

A 22 And thou fhalt make upon the breastplate chains at the ends of wreathen work of pure gold.

23 And thou halt make upon the breastplate two rings of gold, and thalt put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.

24 And thou halt, put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings which are on the ends of the breastplate.

25 And the bther two ends of the two wreathen chains thou shalt faften in the two ouches, and put them on the thoulder pieces of the ephod before it.

31 And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod all of blue.

32 And there fhall be an hole in the top of it, in the midft thereof: it fhall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it, as it were the hole of an habergeon, that it be not rent.

33 And beneath upon the hem of it thou fhalt make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of fcarlet, round about the hem thereof; and bells of gold between them round about:

34 A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe round about.

35 And it fhall be upon Aaron to minifter: and his found shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before the LORD, and when he cometh out, that be die not.

36 And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a fignet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

37 And thou fhalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it hall be.

38 And it fhall be upon Aaron's forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things which the children of Ifrael fhall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it fhall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD.

39 And thou shalt embroider the coat of fine linen, and thou shalt make the mitre of fine linen, and thou thalt make the girdle of needlework.

40 And for Aaron's fons thou fhalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets fhalt thou make for them, for glory and for
