ISAIAH. The certainty of the prophecy

10 Now will I rife, faith the LORD; ftroyed them, he hath delivered thean now will I be exalted; now will I lift to the flaughter. up myfelf.

12 And the people fhall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up hall they be burned in the fire. 13Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge my might.

3 Their flain alfo fhall be caft out, and their flink fhall come up out of their carcaffes, and the mountain fhall be melted with their blood.

5 For my fword thall be bathed in heaven: behold, it fhall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curfe, to judgment.

14 The finners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath furprifed the hypocrites. 3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.

4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be Atrong, fear not behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and fave you.

5 Then the eyes of the blind fhall be opened, and the ears of the deaf fhall be unftopped.

CHAP. XL.

OMFORT ye, comfort ye my peo ple, faith your God.

22 It is he that fitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabi tants thereof are as grafhoppers; that firetcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

23 That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.
