the records of the First Congregational
Church of Ashford, Conn.: March the
last day of it 1739, was Mary Chapman,
wife of Thomas Chapman, by virtue of
a letter of recommendation from the
Pastor of the church in Lebanon re-
ceived to be of the church in full com-
munion--Sept. 12, 1742, Thomas Chap-
man recommended by a letter from the
Church of Christ in Windham Village
or from Mr. Mosly pastor was received
into this church in full communion.
May 26, 1751, Benjamin Chapman,
son of Thomas Chapman was baptized.
