6 See all your sins on Jesus laid!
The Lamb of God was slain;
His soul was once an off'ring made,
For ev'ry soul of man.

With me-ye then your Lord shall know;
Shall feel your sins forgiv'n;
Anticipate your heav'n below,
And own that love is heav'n.

HYMN II.

I NOME, ye sinners, poor and needy,
Weak and wounded, sick and sore,

Jesus ready stands to save you,
Full of pity, love, and pow'r;
He is able,

He is willing, doubt no more.

2 Now, ye needy, come and welcome,
God's free bounty glorify;
True belief and true repentance,
Ev'ry grace that brings you nigh;
Without money

Come to Jesus Christ and buy.
3 Let not conscience make you linger;
Nor of fitness, fondly dream:
All the fitness he requireth,
Is, to feel your need of him;
This he gives you,

'Tis the Spirit's glimm'ring beam.

4 Come, ye weary, heavy-laden'd,
Eruis'd and mangled by the fall,
If you tarry till you're better,
You will never come at all;
Not the righteous;

Sinners, Jesus came to call,

5 Agonizing in the garden,

Lo! your Saviour prostrate lies!
On the bloody tree behold him!
Hear him cry before he dies,
"It is finish'd!”

Sinners, will not this suffice?

Lo! th' incarnate God ascending,
Pleads the merit of his blood;
Venture on him, venture freely,
Let no other trust intrude;
None but Jesus

Can do helpless sinners good.

7 Saints and angels, join'd in concert,
Sing the praises of the Lamb,
While the blissful seats of heaven,
Sweetly echo with his name,
Hallelujah!

I

Sinners here may do the same.

HYMN III. L. M,

HOME, sinners, to the gospel-feast;
Let ev'ry soul be Jesu's guest;
Ye need not one be left behind;
For God hath bidden all mankind.

2 Sent by my Lord, on you I call;
The invitation is to all;

Come all the world! come, sinner, thou!
All things in Christ are ready now.

3 Come, all ye souls by sin oppress'd,
Ye restless wand'rers after rest;

Ye poor, and main'd, and halt, and blind,
In Christ a hearty welcome find.

4 My message as from God receive;
Ye all may come to Christ and live,
O let his love your hearts constrain,
Nor suffer him to die in vain !

5 His love is mighty to compel :
His conqu'ring love consent to feel;
Yield to his love's redeeming pow'r,
And fight against your God no more.
6 See him set forth before your eyes,
That precious, bleeding sacrifice!
His offer'd benefits embrace,

And freely now be sav'd by graee!

7 This is the time; no more delay! The invitation is to day;`

I

Come in this moment, at his call,
And live for him who dy'd for all!.

HYMN IV.

Why will ye die? O house of Israel!
Ezek. xviii. 31.

SIN

INNERS, turn, why will ye die?
God, your Maker, asks you why:
God who did your being give,
Made you with himself to live;
He the fatal cause demands,
Asks the work of his own hands;
Why, ye thankless creatures, why,
Will you cross his love and die?

2 Sinners, turn, why will ye die?
God, your Saviour, asks you why:
God, who did your souls retrieve,
Dy'd himself, that you might live.

Will you let him die in vain ?
Crucify your Lord again?
Why, ye ransom'd sinners, why,
Will you slight his grace, and die?

3 Sinners, turn, why will ye die?
God, the Spirit, asks you why:
He, who all your lives hath strove,
Woos you to embrace his love:
Will you not the grace receive?
Will you still refuse to live?
Why, ye long-sought sinners, why,
Will you grieve your God, and die?

4 Dead, already dead within,
Spiritually dead in sin;

Dead to God, while here you breathe ;
Pant you after fecond death?

Will you ftill in fin remain,
Greedy of eternal pain?
O, ye dying finners, why,
Why will you for ever die?

HYMN VI.

LOW ye the trumpet, blow,
The gladly folemn found:

Let all the nations know,
To earth's remotest bound,
The year of jubilee is come;
Return, ye ransom'd finners, home.

Jefus our great High Prieft,

Hath full atonement made:
Ye weary fpirits reft,

Ye mournful fouls be glad ;

The year of jubilee is come;

Return, ye ranfom'd finners, home.

Extol the Lamb of God,

The all-atoning Lamb;

Redemption in his blood

Throughout the world proclaim:
