וּרְאֵה אֶת־חֶרְפָּתֵנוּ : נַחֲלָתְנוּ נָהֶפְכָה לְזָרִים 2 ואין ק' בְּפִינוּ לְנָכְרִים : יְתוֹמִים היינו אין אָב אוֹתֵינוּ 3

בְּאַלְמָנוֹת : מֵימֵינוּ בְּכֶסֶף שָׁתִינוּ צינוּ בִּמְחִיר ולא ק' יָבִאוּ : עַל־־צַוָּארֵנוּ נְרְדָּפְנוּ יָגַעְנוּ לֹא־־הוּנַחה

לָנוּ: מִצְרַיִם נָתַנוּ יָד אַשׁוּר לִשְׂבֹּעַ לָחֶם :6 אינם קרי אֲבֹתֵינוּ חָטְאוּ אֵינָם אַאֲנַחְנוּ עֲוֹנָתֵיהֶם סְבָלְנוּ :
