For Thou wilt not leave my soul in | hell;

Neither wilt Thou suffer thine Holy One to | see corruption;
Thou wilt show me the path of life;

In thy | presence is fullness of | joy.

FEAR not: I am He that liveth and was dead; and, lo! I am alive forevermore, Amen: and have the keys of death and of hell.

Worthy is the Lamb | that was slain

To receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and |
honor and glory and
Blessing and honor and

blessing:

glory and power,

Be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the
Lamb, for ever and ever. A men.

I AM the LORD thy GOD, who have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage: Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

THE ASCENSION AND GLORIFICATION OF THE LORD.

ASCEND unto my Father and to your Father, unto my GoD and your God.

9:2

Be Thou exalted, O GOD, above the | heavens:
And thy glory above | all the | earth.

No man hath ascended up to heaven but He that hath come down from heaven; even the Son of man, who is in heaven.

The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our
LORD and of his CHRIST,

And He shall | reign for | ever and | ever.

AND I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me.

Whom have I in | heaven but | Thee;

And there is none upon earth that I de sire be sides | Thee. BEHOLD, I send the promise of my Father upon you; but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem until ye be endued with power from on high.

Out of Zion shall go | forth the | Law;

And the Word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

AND He lifted up his hands and blessed them; and while He blessed them He was parted from them and carried up into heaven.

The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens,
And his kingdom | ruleth | over | all.

I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, saith the LORD: Who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.

THE HOLY SPIRIT, OR THE DIVINE PROCEEDING OF THE LORD.

IF

F a man love Me he will keep my words, and my Father will love him; and We will come to him, and make our abode with him.

Thou art gone up on high, Thou hast led captivity | captive. Thou hast received gifts for men, yea, for the rebellious { also,

That the LORD | GOD might | dwell among them.

THE wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, nor whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Thou sendest forth thy | Spirit;

They are created;

And Thou re newest the face of the earth.

THE Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

[blocks in formation]

What the Spirit | saith unto the | Churches.

I WILL not leave you comfortless. I will come to you because I live ye shall live also: at that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in Me, and I in

INTRODUCTORY

SENTENCES AND PRAYERS.

INTRODUCTORY SENTENCES.

THE LORD is in his holy temple; let all the earth keep silence

before Him.

ENTER into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise be thankful unto Him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

GIVE unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people: give unto the LORD glory and strength: give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts: O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: tremble before Him all the earth.

SEEK ye the LORD while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the un righteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our GOD, for He will abundantly pardon.

EXALT ye the LORD our GOD, and worship at his footstool, for He is holy.

ONE thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.

1

FOR from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same, my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of Hosts.

WHEREWITH shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the High GOD? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my first-born for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sins of my soul? He hath showed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy GOD?.

WHAT shall I render to the LORD for all his benefits toward me? I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD. I will pay my vows to the LORD now in the presence of all his people, in the courts of the house of the LORD, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem.

HOLINESS becometh thine house, O LORD, forever.

THE sun shall be no more thy light by day, neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy GOD thy glory.

BLESS ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, who by night stand in the house of the LORD: lift up your hands in the sanctuary and bless the LORD. The LORD that made heaven and earth, bless thee out of Zion.

INTRODUCTORY PRAYERS.

SEARCH me, O GOD, and know my heart; try me, and know

my thoughts; and see if there be any wicked way in me; and lead me in the way everlasting.

CAUSE me to hear thy loving kindness in the morning; for in Thee do I trust; cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto Thee.
