b Who is he that faith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not? When he giveth Quietness, who then can make Trouble? And when he hideth his Face, who then can behold him, whether it be done against a Nation, or against a Man only?

c Who is able to ftand before him? Who may ftand in his Sight when he is once angry? Who hath hardned himself againft him and hath profper'd? In his Hand is Power and Might, fo that none is able to withstand him; neither is there any that can deliver out of his Hand.

a He will fulfil the Defire of them that fear him.

h The Salvation of the Righteous is of the Lord; he is their Strength in the time of Trouble. He fhall deliver them in fix Troubles, and in feven there fhall no Evil touch them. In Famine he shall redeem them from Death, and in War from the Power of the Sword.

i He fhall deliver them from the Wicked. The Name of the Lord is a strong Tower; the Righteous runneth into it, and is fafe.

The Steps of a good Man are ordered by the Lord tho' he fall, he fhall not be utterly
