"I will command My blessing upon you." Imf COMMAND Thy blessing from 3mf Command Thy blessing in this hour, above,
Spirit of truth! and fill this place
(grace. P While we look up with filial fear. cres With quickening and confirming - 2 mf Command Thy blessing, Jesus, Lord !4 mfo Thou, our Maker, Saviour, Guide, May we Thy true disciples be ;
One true eternal God confessed ! Speak to each heart the mighty Whom Thou hast joined may none word,
[blest. Say to the weakest—"Follow Me." None dare to curse whom Thou hast
5 f With Thee and these for ever found,
May all the souls who here unite,
"Surely the Lord is in this place." I mf GOD reveals His presence : 3 P O Thou Fount of blessing, Let us now adore Him,
Purify my spirit ; And with awe appear before Him. Trusting only in Thy merit, p God is in His temple :
cres Like the holy angels All within keep silence,
Who behold Thy glory, Prostrate lie with deepest reverence. May I ceaselessly adore Thee. cres Him alone
mf Let Thy will God we own,
Ever still f Him our God and Saviour :
Rule Thy Church terrestrial,
As the hosts celestial.
Whilst on earth I tarry,
[ing ; cres Then, on angel pinions, cres Hear the hymn ascending,
Waft me to those regions, Angels, saints, their voices blending. Filled with bright seraphic legions. Bow Thine ear
mf May this hope To us here;
Bear me up cres Hearken, O Lord Jesus,
f Till these eyes for ever dim To our meaner praises.
Gaze on Thee, my Saviour ! Amen.
2 p Low at His feet lay thy burden of carefulness;
cres High on His heart He will bear it for thee,
Guiding thy steps as may best for thee be.
Of the poor wealth thou wouldst reckon as thine ;
These are the offerings to lay on His shrine.
He will accept for the Name that is dear,
Trust for our trembling, and hope for our fear.
Bow down before Him, His glory proclaim ; cres Gold of obedience and incense of lowliness
Bring, and adore Him; the Lord is His name! Amen
