twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before his throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Rev. v. 11-14. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands. Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the lamb that was slain, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing and every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. And the four beasts said Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

SECTION X.

John xvi. 24. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. Jam. iv. 8. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Jer. xxxiii. 3. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Joel ii. 32. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered; for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call. Rom. x. 12. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. Jam.v. 15-18. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he hath committed sins, they

shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth, by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. (See preceding sections.)
