Christ justifeth his doctrine.

The blindness of the Jews.
Christ foretelleth his belrayer 32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, willy.7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I draw all men unto me.
do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know :33 (This he said, signifying what death he hereafter. should die.)
8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash 34 The people answered him, We have heard my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thec out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and not, thou hast no part with me. how sayest thou, The Son of man must be listed 9 Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my up? Who is this Son of man?

therefore said he, Ye are not all clean. 36 While ye have light, believe in the light, 12 So after he had washed their feet, and had that ye may be the children of light. These taken his garinents, and was set down again, things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide he said unto them, know ye what I have done hiinself from them.
to you? 37 | But though he had done so many miracles 13 Ye call me Master, and Lord : and ye say before them, yet they believed not on hinn: well; for so I am.
