ONE of the most beautiful Churches in London is that which stands in Thornhaugh Square. It is called after two pious persons mentioned by S. Paul in his Epistle to the Hebrews, S. Tryphena and Tryphosa; but why these names were selected out of all those to be found in Holy Writ, is not known to us. The parsonage house which adjoins the Church, is a spacious and comfortable dwelling, fit to be the home of a simple-hearted gentleman and his family; and the present occupants, the Reverend Robert Besborough and his wife, have spent several happy years within its substantial walls.
