INTRODUCTION.

CONCLUDING REMARKS.

ST. JOHN is generally considered, with respect to language, as the least cor his readers, by employing in the expression of them, both an affirmative prorect writer in the New Testament. His style indicates a great want of those position and a negative. It is manifestly not without design that he comadvantages which result from a learned education ; but this defect is amply monly passed over those passages of our Lord's history and teaching, which compensated by the unexampled simplicity with which he expresses the sub had been treated at large by the other Evangelists, or, if he touches them at limest truths. On No. 1. it may be proper to remark, that, on comparing the different Evangelists, it seems that the women did not come all to the sepulchre at one time, but some at day-break, and the other women not till sun-rise. THAT the first Epistle to the Corinthians is the genuine production of St. to proceed to Corinth, about A.
