4 Renew my will from day to day! Blend it with thine! and take away All that now makes it hard to say, "Thy will be done!" 5 Though Thou hast call'd me to resign What most I prized, (it ne'er was mine,) I have but yielded what was Thine : "Thy will be done!" 6 Should grief or sickness waste away 66 Thy will be done!" 7 Let but my fainting heart be blest With thy sweet spirit for its guest; To Thee, O Lord, I leave the rest : 8 Then when to Heaven's bright realms I soar, These words, so mix'd with tears before, I'll sing triumphant evermore: "Thy will be done!" COME UNTO ME. 1 JUST as I am-without one plea 2 Just as I am-and waiting not To rid my soul of one dark blot, To Thee, whose blood can cleanse each spot, O Lamb of God, I come! 3 Just as I am-though toss'd about With many a conflict, many a doubt, Fightings and fears within, without, O Lamb of God, I come! 4 Just as I am-poor, wretched, blind; Sight, riches, healing of the mind, Yea, all I need, in Thee to find, O Lamb of God, I come! 5 Just as I am-Thou wilt receive, O Lamb of God, I come! 6 Just as I am-Thy love unknown Has broken every barrier down ; Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone, O Lamb of God, I come! 7 Just as I am-of that free love, "The breadth, length, depth, and height” to prove, Here for a season, then above, O Lamb of God, I come! ON LEAVING SCHOOL. 1 LORD, dismiss us with thy blessing; Travelling through this wilderness. 2 Thanks we give, and adoration, To the truth may we be found: 3 So whene'er the signal's given, Reign with Christ in endless day. 1 DISMISS us with Thy blessing, Lord, 2 Though we are guilty, Thou art good: 88 1 FOR a season call'd to part, 2 Jesus, hear our humble prayer: Let Thy mercy and Thy care What we each have now been taught, Here to meet in peace again. 4 Then, if Thou instruction bless, Songs of praises shall be given; We'll our thankfulness express, Here on earth, and when in heaven. 1 Now may He, who from the dead 2 May He teach us to fulfil What is pleasing in His sight, And preserve us day and night. |
