I THANK Thee, O God, for keeping me and those I love during the night. I bless Thee for all Thou hast done for us.

Forgive, Lord, my sins, and give me a gentle heart, that I may obey Thy commandments and love all around me. Keep me, Lord,* and all I love, this day from evil, and teach us so to live, that when we die we may be received by Thee in heaven, for Jesus' sake. Amen.

EVENING PRAYER FOR A CHILD.

I THANK Thee, O God, for all Thou hast done for me this day, and that Thou hast kept me in health and peace.
