Before him, burns devouring fire ;
The mountains melt, the seas retire. 4 His enemies, with fore dismay,
Fly from the fight, and shun the day :
3 Let the whole earth his love proclaim
In melody and songs.
I TOY to the world; the Lord is come;
J Let earth receive her king :
And God the Saviour fing.
2 Joy to the earth, the Saviour reigns ;
Let men their tongues employ ;
While fields, and floods, rocks, hills, and plains,
Repeat the sounding joy.
4 He rules the world with truth and grace ;
And makes the nations prove The glories of his righteousaess,

Let all the nations fear; Let finners tremble at his throne,
And saints be humble there.
2 Jefus, the Saviour reigns,
Let earth adore it's Lord :
Swift to fulfil his word.
3 In Zion is his throne,
His honours are divine :
For there his glories Thine. ;
1 V E nations round the earth, rejoice,
I Before the Lord, your fov'reign king; Serve him with chearful heart and voice,
With all your tongues his glory sing. 2 The Lord is God : 'Tis he alone
Doth life and breath, and being give : We are his work, and not our own;
The theep that on his pastures live. 3 Enter his gates with songs of joy,
With praises to his courts repair ; And make it your divine employ,
To pay your thanks and honours there.
4. The Lord is good, the Lord is kind;
Great is his grace his mercy sure : And the whole race of man fhall find
His truth from age to age endure,
