LXX. God the Avenger of his
Saints ; Or, his Kingdom su. preme.
TJ IHG as the heav'ns above the ground,
II Reigns the Creator, God: Wide as the whole creation's bound,
Extends his awful rod.
T ADEN with guilt, and full of fears,
I fly to thee my Lord : And not a glimpse of hope appears, Fortid But in thy written word.

Can all my grief affuage: smiles 1031 Here I behold my Saviour's face, ,
In many a lovely page. soud 3. This is the field where hidden lies, The pearl of price unknown;
That merchant is divinely wise,
That makes the pearl-his own. 4 Here consecrated water flows, .
: Taquench my thirft of fin; Here the fair tree of knowledge grows, . Nor danger dwells therein. 5 This is the judge that ends the strife,
Where wit-and-reason fail; i My guide to everlafting life,
Thro' all this gloomy vale.
My roving feet command; .
That leads to ihy right hand.
