Call to Worship. Ps. 95. WATTS. 1 Come, sound his praise abroad,

And hymns of glory sing;
Jehovah is the sovereign God,

The universal King.
2 He formed the deeps unknown;
He

gave the seas their bound;
The watery worlds are all his own,

And all the solid ground.
3 Come, worship at his throne,

Corne, bow before the Lord :
We are his work, and not our own;

He formed us by his word.
4 To-day attend his voice,

Nor dare provoke his rod;
Come like the people of his choice,

And own your gracious God.

Enjoyment in Worship. SPIRIT OF THE PSALIS 1 SWEET is the task, O Lord!

Thy giorious acts to sing, To praise thy name, and hear thy word.

And grateful offerings bring. 2 Sweet, at the dawning hour,

Thy boundless love to tell; And, when the night-wind shuts the flower,

Still on the theme to dwell, 3 Sweet, on this day of rest,

To join, in heart and voice, With those who love and serve thee best.

And in thy name rejoice.
4 To songs of praise and joy

Be every sabhath given,
That such may be our blest employ

Eternally in heaven!

The Sabbath welcomed. WATTS. 1 WELCOME, sweet day of rest,

That saw the Lord arise!
Welcome to this reviving breast,

And these rejoicing eyes !
2 The King himself comes near,

And feasts his saints to-day;
Here may we sit, and see him here,

And love and praise and pray. 5 One day amid the place

Where Christ, iny Lord, has been,
Is sweeter than ten thousand days

Of pleasurable sin.
4 My willing soul would stay

Ir such a frame as this,
And sit and sing herself away

To everlasting bliss.

1 STAND up, and bless the Lord,

Ye people of his choice; Stand up, and bless the Lord your God,

With heart and soul and voice. 2 Though high above all praise,

Above all blessing high,
Who would not fear his holy name,

And laud and magnify ? 3 Oh for the living flame,

From his own altar brought,
To touch our lips, our minds inspire,

And raise to heaven our thought ! 4 Stand up, and bless the Lord;

The Lord your God adore; Stand up, and bless his glorious name,

Henceforth, for evermore.

Divine Love,

WESLEY'S COL

12.

Surrounding the Mercy Seat. J. TAYLOR. 13. 1 Far from mortal cares retreating,

1 Love divine, all love excelling, Sordid hopes and fond desires,

Joy of heaven, to earth come down; Here, our willing footsteps meeting,

Fix in us thy humble dwelling, Every heart to heaven aspires.

All thy faithful mercies crown. From the Fount of glory beaming,

Father! thou art all compassion,-Light celestial cheers our eyes ;

Pure, unbounded love thou art; Mercy from above proclaiming,

Visit us with thy salvation, Peace and pardon from the skies. Enter every longing heart.

2 Breathe, oh breathe thy loving Spirit 2 Who may share this great salvation ?

Into every

troubled breast; Every pure and humble mind;

Let us all in thee inherit, Every kindred, tongue, and nation,

Let us find, thy promised rest. From the dross of guilt refined:

Come, almighty to deliver, Blessings all around bestowing,

Let us all thy life receive; God withholds his care from none;

Graciously come down, and never, Grace and mercy ever flowing

Never more thy temples leave From the fountain of his throne.

14.

Dorology. 3. Every stain of guilt abhorring,

“Lord, thy glory fills the heaven, Firm and bold in virtue's cause;

Earth is with its fulness stored; Still thy Providence adoring,

Unto thee be glory given, Faithful subjects to thy laws,

Holy, holy, holy Lord !” Lord! with favor still attend us,

Heaven is still with glory ringing,
Bless us with thy wondrous love;

Earth takes up the angels' cry,
Thou, our sun and shield, defend us : "Holy, holy, holy," singing,
All our hope is from above.

“Lord of hosts, the Lord most Higb!"
