The God that built the skies, 1 The Lord Jehovah reigns; And earth and nature made: His throne is built on high ; God is the tower to which I fly; His grace is nigh in every hour Nor blasts of evening air, Shall take my health away, 2 And can this mighty King If God be with me there. Of glory condescend ? Thou art my sun, and thou my shade, And will he write his My Father and my Friend? To guard my head by night or noon.
