BE it remembered, That on the eleventh day of December, in the afty-fourth year of the Independence of the United States of America, Sereno E. Dwizdt, of spe said District, bath deposited in this office the title of a book, the right whereor në theworles" he claims as proprietor, and to the memoir" as author, in the words following, to wit:
“The Works of President Edwards, with a Merroir of his life. : In ten volumes." In conformity to the act of Congress of the Urhed Erates, entined “An a t for the encouragement of learning, by securing the copies of maps, charis; and books, to the authors and proprietors of such copies, during the times therein mentioned ;" and also to an act, entitled "An act supplementary to an act, entitled An act for the encouragement of learning, by securing the copies of maps, charts, and books, to the authors and proprietors of such copies, during the times therein mentioned, and extending the benefits thereof io the arts of designing, engraving, and etching historical and other prints.”
