Chorus.

URN thee unto me, O Lord, and have mercy upon me: for I am desolate and in misery.

Duet. Two Trebles.-The sorrows of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my troubles.

Look upon my adversity: and forgive me all my sin.

Consider mine enemies how many they are: and they bear a tyrannous hate against me.

Chorus. O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be confounded, for I have put my trust in thee.

F we believe that Jesus died, and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto

the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Chorus.-Wherefore, comfort one another with these words.

WILL magnify thee, O God, my King: and I will praise thy name for ever and

Every day will I give thanks unto thee: and praise thy name for ever and ever.

Great is the Lord, and marvellous, worthy to be praised there is no end of his greatness. One generation shall praise thy works unto another and declare thy power.

As for me, I will be talking of thy worship: thy glory, thy praise, and wondrous works; Chorus. So that men shall speak of the might of marvellous acts and I will also tell of thy greatness.

PSALM XXVII. 1, 3—7.

Alto and Bass.

HE Lord is my light, and my salvation, whom then shall I fear: the Lord is the strength of my life, of whom then shall I be afraid?

Though an host of men were laid against me, yet shall not my heart be afraid and though there rose up war against me, yet will I put my trust in him.

Alto. One thing have I desired of the Lord, which I will require: even that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the fair beauty of the Lord, and to visit his temple.

Bass. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his tabernacle: yea, in the secret place of his dwelling shall he hide me, and set me up upon a rock of stone.

And now shall he lift up mine head: above mine enemies round about me.

Alto and Chorus.-Therefore will I sing, and speak praises unto the Lord.

PSALM CXIII. 1—5.

Solo Tenor.

RAISE the Lord, ye servants: O praise the name of the Lord.

Blessed be the name of the Lord: from this time forth for evermore.

The Lord's name is praised: from the rising up of the sun, unto the going down of the same. The Lord is high above all heathen and his glory above the heavens.

Who is like unto the Lord our God, that hath his dwelling so high and yet humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven and earth?

Solo and Chorus.-Praise the Lord, ye servants: O praise the name of the Lord. Amen. Set also by PURCELL and WELDON for three Voices, and by GREENE for two Trebles.

SING unto the Lord a new song : let
the congregation of saints praise him.

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him and let the children of Sion be joyful in their King. Treble. For the Lord hath pleasure in his people and helpeth the meek-hearted.

Let the saints be joyful with glory.

Two Voices and Chorus.-Let the praises of God be in their mouth.

Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.

SIN

ISAIAH, XLIX. 13—15; LI. 1—3.

Alto, Tenor, and Bass.

ING, O heavens, and be joyful, O earth, break forth into singing, O mountains: for the Lord hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

Bass. But Zion said, The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.

Three Voices.-Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

Alto.-Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn.

Alto and Tenor.-Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.

Three Voices.-For the Lord shall comfort Zion, he will comfort all her waste places, and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord: joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

Chorus.-The Lord shall comfort Zion, joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody. Amen.
