APPENDIX.

PRAYERS, &c.

WHICH MAY BE SEVERALLY INSERTED ON THE FOLLOWING OCCASIONS.

CHRISTMAS DAY.

MOST gracious and merciful God, who, as at this time, didst send thy Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved; grant us a true and lively faith in Him, that we may be partakers of all the benefits of His incarnation, following the steps of His most holy life, and constantly praising Him for the love

EASTER DAY.

GRANT, O Lord, we beseech thee, that as thy Son Jesus Christ died for our sins, and, as at this time, rose again for our justification; we also may daily die unto sin, and live unto God; that so, in the last day, when He shall come again in his
