33 Didever people hear the voyce of Godspeaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live? 34 Orhath God affayed to go and take him a nation from the midit of another nation, by temptations, by lignes && by wonders, & by war, and by a mighty hand, & by a stretched-outarm, and by great terrours, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes? 35 Unto thee it was shewed, thất thou mightest know that the LORD he is God there is none else befides hint. 36 Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voyce, that he might instruct theer and upon earth he shewed thee his great fire, and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire. 37 And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their feed after them, and brought thee out in his fight with his mighty power out of Egypt: 38 Todrive out nations from before thee, greater and mightier then thou artys to bring theein to give thee their lan i for an inheritance, as it is this day. 39 Know therefore this day and confi der it in thine heart, that the LORD he God in heaven above, and upon the eartbeneath: there is none elfe. 40Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes and his commandments which 1 command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and withthy children after thee, and that thou mayeft prolong thy days upon the earth, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for ever. 41 Then Mofesfevered three cities on this fide Jordan, toward the fun-rifing: 42 That the flayer might flee thither, which should kill his neighbour una wares, and hated him not in times paft: and that fleeing unto one of these cities, he might live: 43 Namely, Bezer in the wildernessy in y plain-countrey, of the Reubenites; and Ramoth in Gilead of the Gadites; and Golan in Bashan, of the Manaflites. 44And this is the law which Mofes set before the children of Ifrael: 45 These are the teftimonies and the statutes and the judgements which Mofes fpake unto the children of Ifrael, after they came forth out of Egypt; 46 On this fide Jordan in the valley over against Beth-peor in the land of Sihorr king |
