And he put the mitre upon his head; alfo upon y mitre, even upon his forefront did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Mofes, to And Mofes took the anointing oyl, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was therein and sanctified them. 11 And he sprinkled thereof upon the alta feventimes, and anointed the altar and'an his veffels, both the laver and his foot, to fanctifie them. 12. And he poured of the anointing oyl uo Aarons head, and anointed him to fanctifie him. 13 And Mofes brought Aarons fons && put coats upon them, and girded them with girdles and put bonnets upon them; as the LORD commanded Moses. 14 And he brought the bullock for the fin-offering, and Aaron and his fons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for the fin-offering. 15. And he flew it, and Mofes took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the alter round about with his finger, and purified the altar; and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and fan&ified it, to make reconciliation upon it. 16 And he took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul above the livar, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Mofes burned it upon the altar, 17 But the buHock and his hide, his flesh & his dung, be burnt with fire without y camp; as the LORD commanded Mofes. 18 And he brought the ram for the burnt-offering: and Aaron and his fons laid their hands upon the head of the ram, 19 And be killed it, and Mofes fprinkled the blood upon the altar round about, 20 And he cut the ram into pieces and Mofes burnt the heads and the pieces:and the fat. 21 And he wasued the inwards, and the legs in water, and Mofes burnt the whole ram upon the altar: it was a turnt-facrifice for a fiveet favour, and an offering made by fire unto the LORD; as the LORD comminanded Mofes. 22 And he brought the other ram, the ram of confecration: & Aaron & his fons laid their hands upon the head of the ram, 23 And he flewit, an Mofes took of the blood ofit, and put it upon the tip of Aarons right ears and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot. 24 And he brought Aarons fons, and Mofes put of the blood upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of heir right foot: and Mofes sprinkled the stood upon the altar round about. And he put all upon Aarons hands, and upon his fons hands, and waved them. for a wave-offering before the LORD. 28-And Mofes took then front off their hands, and burnt them on the altar, upon. the burnt-offering: they were confecrations for a fweet favour: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD. 29 And Mofes took the breaft & waved it for a wave-offering efore the LORD: for off ram of confecration it was Mofes part; as the LORD Commanded Mofes. 30 And Mofes took of the anointing oyl, & of the blood which was upon the altar, and fprinkled it upon Aaron and upon his garments, and upon his fons, and upon his fons garments with him: and fanctified Aaron, and his garments and his fons,and his fons garments with him. 31 And Mofes faid unto Aaron, & te his fons, Boyl the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation and there eat it with the bread that is in the basket of confecrations as I commanded saying, Aaron and his fons shall eat it. 32 And that which remaineth of flesh and of the bread shatl ye burn with fire. 33 And ye shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation ir seven days, until the days of your confecration be at an end: for seven days. shall he confecrate you, 34 As he hath done this day, so the LORD hath commanded to do, to make an atonement for you. 35 Therefore shall ye abide at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day aud night, seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not: for fo Fam commanded. 36 So Aaron and his fons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Mofes. CHAP. IX, The first offerings of Aaron for bimself and the people. 23 Moses and Aaron bles the people. 24 Fire cometh from the Lord upon the altar. it came to pass the eighth day, Athat Motes called Aaron and his fons, and the elders of Ifrael; 2 And he said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calt for a fin-offering, and a ram for a burnt-offering, without blemish, and offer themt efore the LORD. 3 And unto the children of Ifrael thou shatt speak faying, Ta eyea kid of the goats, for a fin-offering, and a calf and a lambs both of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt-offering. 4 Alto a bullock and a ram for peaceofferings, to facrifice before the LORDA and a mear-offering mingled with oyl: for 4 Aaron's offerings. Nadab and Atiba. fore the LORD, and confumed upon the altar the burnt-offering and the far: which when all the people faw, they shouted, and fell on their faces. Chap. x. to day the LORD will appear unto you, And they brought that which Mofes cominanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD. 6 And Mofes faid This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD mall appear unto you. 7 And Mofesfaid unto Aaron, Gounto the altar, & offer thy fin-offering and thy burnt-offering, & inake an atonement for thy felfand for the people and offer the offering of the people, & make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded, 8 Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and flew the calf of the fin-offering, which was for himself. CHAP. Χ. I Nadab and Abibu burnt. 8 Priefts for bidden wine. them his cenfer, ANd Nadab and Abihu, the fons of Aaand put fire the ein, & put incense there on and offered strange fire before the LORD which he commanded them not. 2. And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD. 3 And Mofes said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake, saying, I will be fanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified: And Aaron held his peace. 9 And the fons of Aaron brought the brood unto him: and he dipt his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of 4 And Mofes called Mismael and Elza. the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar. το But the fat and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver of the tin-offering he burnt upon the altar ; as the LORD commanded Mofes. So they went near, and carried them in their coats out of the camp, as Mofes had faid. 6 And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar his fons, Un 12 And he flew the burnt-offering, and Aarons fons prefènted unto him blood, cover not your heads, neither rend your he sprinkled round about upon the altar clothes, least you die, and leaff wrath come 13 And they presented burnt-offering upon all the people: but let your brethren, unto him, with the pieces thereothand the head: and he burnt them upon the altar, 14 Andhe did wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt Offering on the altar. 15 And he brought the peoples offer ing, and took the goat which was the finonering for the people, and flew it, and offered it for fin, as the first. 16 And he brought the burnt-offering, and offered it according to the manner. 17 And he brought the nieat-offering, and took an handfull thereof and burnt it upon the altar, befide the burnt-facrifice of the morning. 18 He flew also the bullock and the ram, for a facrifice of peace-offerings, which was for the people: & Aarons tons Prefented unto him the blood (which he Iprinkled upon the altar round about) 19 And the fat of the bullock and of the ram, the rump, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys and the caul above the liver. 20 And they put y fat upon the breafts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar; 21 And the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron waved for a wave-offe ing be fore the LORD; as Mofes commanded. 22 And Aaron lift up his hand towards the people; and blessed them; and came down from offering of the fin-offering, Sc the burnt-offering, and peace-offerings, 23 And Mofes and Aaron went into the cabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blefled the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all people, 24. And there came a fire our from be the whole house of Ifrael, bewail the burning which the LORD hath kindled. 7 And ye shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of the congrega tion, least you die; for the anointing oyl of the LORD is upon you: And they did according to the word of Moses. 8 And the LORD ipake untó Aaron. faying, 9 Do not drink wine nor strong drink thou, nor thy fons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, least ye die: It shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations: 10 And that ye may put difference be tween holy and unholy, and between un clean and clean: And that ye may teach the children of Ifrael all the statutes which the LORD hath spoken unto them by y hand of Mofes 12 And Mofes (pake unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar, and unto Ithamar his fons that were left, Take the meat-offering that remaineth of the offerings of LORD made by fire and eat it without leaven befide the altar: for it is most holy 13 And ye shall eat it in the holy place, because it is thy due, and thy fons due of the facrifices of the LORD made by fire:for so I am commanded. 14 And the wave-breaft and heave shoulder shall be eat in a clean place; thou, & thy fons, and thy daughters with thee: for they be thy due and thy fons due which bare given out of the facrifices of peace-offerings of the children of Ifrael. 15 The heav-shoulder, and the wave braft hall they bring, with the offerings Priefts forbidden wine. • Leviticus. CHAP. XI. 1.4. Of meatsclean. 9 and unclean. Nd the LORD ipake unto Moles, and AN to Aaron, faying unto them, 2 Speak unto the children of Ifrael faying, Thele are beafts which ye shall eat agiong all the beasts that are on the earth, 3 Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is cloven-footed, and cheweth the cud among the beafts, that shall ye eat, 4 Nevertheless, these shall ye not eat, of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof, as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. 5 And the cony, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is Huclean unto you. 6 And the hare because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof, he is naolean, unto you. 7 And the wine, though he divide the koof, and be cloven footed, yet he chew ath not the cud; he is unclean to you. 8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye no touch; they are Maclean to you. 9These shall ye eat, of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and icales in the waters, in theseas, and in the rivers; them shall ye eat. the ofpray, 14 And the vulture, and the kite, after his kind: 15 Every raven after his kind: 16 And the owl, and the night-hawk, & the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind, 17 And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl, 18 And the Iwan, and the pelican, and the gier-eagle And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat. 21 Yet these may ye eat, of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withall upon the earth: 22 Even there of them ye may eat: the locuft after his kind, and the bald-locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grashopper after his kind. 23 Butall other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you. 24 And for these ye shall be unclean: whosoever toucheth the carcase of them hall be unclean untill the cren. 25 And whosoever beareth ought ofthe carcafe of them, shall wash his clothes, and be unclean untill the even. 26 The carcases of every beafst which divideth the hoof, and is not cloven footed, nor cheweth the cud are unclean unto you: every one that toucheth them, shall be unclean, 27 And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beafts, that go on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoto toucheth their carcase, shall be unclean untill the even. 28 And he that beareth the carcase of them, thall wash his clothes, &c be unclean untill the even: they are unclean unto you. 29 Thefe also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth: the weafeband the mouse, and the tortoife after his kind, 30 And the ferret, & the chameleon,and the lyzard, and the snail, and the mole. 31 These are unclean to you among all creep: whosoever doth touch them when they be dead shal be unclean untilly even 32 And upon whatfuever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean, whether it be any veflel of wood, to And all that have not fins norscales in the feas, and in the rivers, of all that or raiment, or skin, or tack, whatsoever move in the waters, and ofany living vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it thing, which is in the waters, they shall be anabomination unto you. Chap. xii. xii. 35 And every thing, whereupon any Part of their carcase falleth, shall be un clean; whether it be oven, or ranges for pors, they shall be broken down for they are unclean, & shal be unclean unto you. 36 Nevertheless, a fountain or pit, berein there is plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which toucheth their carcafe shall be unclean. 37 And if any part of their carcase fall upon any fowing feed which is to be Town; it shall be clean. 38 But if any water be put upon the feed, and any part of their carcafe fall thereon, it ball be unclean unto you. 39 And if any beaft of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth carcafe thereof, shall be unclean untill the even. Womens furifying. 5 But if she bear a maid-child, then the shall be unclean two weeks, as in her feparation: & she shall continue in blood of her purifying threescore and fix days. 6 And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a fon, or for a daughter; she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt-offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtle-dove for a fin-offering unto the door of the tabernacle of the congrega tion, unto the Prieft: 7 Who fhall offer it before the LORD, and make an atonement for her, and the shall be cleansed from the iffue of her blood. This is the law for her that hath born a male or a female. 8 And if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shal! bring two turtles, or two 40 And he that eateth of the carcase of young pigeons; the one for y burnt offerit, thall wath his clothes, and be unclean ing, and the other for a fin-offering: and untill the even: healfo that beareth the the Priest shall make an atonement for carcafe ofit, shall wash his clothes, and her, and she shall be clean, be unclean untill the even. 41 And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, shall be an abomination: it shall not be eaten. CHAP. XIII. CHAP. XII. I A womans purification after child-birth. 6 Her offerings for her purifying. Nd the LORD spake unto Mofes, Afayinge 2 Speak unto the children of Ifrael, faying, if a woman have conceived feed, and born a man-child, then she shall be unclean seven days: according to the days of the feparation for her infirmity shall the be unclean. 3 And in the eighth day the flesh of his fore-skin shall be circumcised. 4 And the thall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days: she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the fanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled. of his flesh, and in fight be not deeper then the skin, and y hair thereof be not turned white; then the Priest shall shut up bins that bath the plague feven days. 5 And the Priest shall look on him the seventh day, and behold, if the plague in his fight be at a stay, and the plague fpread not in the skin; then the Priest shall shut him up seven days more. 6 And the Priest shall look on hinmagain the seventh day; and behold, if the plague be fomwhat dark, and the plaguefpread not in the skin; the Priest shall pronounce him clean: it is but a feab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean, 7 But if the scab spread much abroad in the skin, after that he hath been feen of the Prieft for his cleanfing, he shall be feen of the Prieft again. 8 And if Priest see, that behold, scab spreadeth in the skins then the Prieft shall pronounce bim unclean: it is a leprofie. 9 When the lague of leprofie is in a man, then he shall be brought untos Prieft to And the Priest shall fee bim and be hold, if the rifing be white in the skiajand it have tu ned the hair white, and raere quick raw them in the rifing; It is an old leprofie in the skin of his flesh, and the Priest shall pronounce hita unclean, and thalitot shut him up, is unclean.
