And now, Lord, what is my hope? truly, my hope is even in thee.

Deliver me from all mine offences, and make me not a rebuke unto the foolish. I became dumb, and opened not my mouth; for it was thy doing.

Take thy plague away from me, I am even consumed by the means of thy heavy hand.

Hear my prayer, O Lord, and with thine ears consider my calling. Hold not thy peace at my tears, for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.

O spare me a little, that I may recover my strength, before I go hence, and be

no more seen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son: and to the Holy Ghost;

As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be: world without end. Amen.

END OF PSALMS.

Sanctus.

Hosts; Heaven and earth are

full of the majesty of thy glory.

Glory be to Thee, O Lord, most high.

The Collect.

ALMIGHTY GOD, unto whom all

hearts be open, all desires known, and from whom no secrets are hid ; cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of thy Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love thee, and worthily magnify thy holy name; through Christ our Lord. Amen.

HE Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness, for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no

evil, for thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

3.

LORD, for thy tender mercies sake,

lay not our sins to our charge, but

forgive that is past, and give us grace to amend our sinful lives, to decline from sin, and incline to virtue, that we may walk with a perfect heart before Thee, now and evermore.

WILL arise and go to my Father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee, and am no more worthy to be called thy Son.

And bow'd the heav'ns most high;

And underneath his feet he cast,

The darkness of the sky.
