The lions do lack and suffer hunger, but they who seek the Lord shall want no manner of thing that is good.

O taste and see how gracious the Lord is; blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Ho

18.

OW beautiful upon the mountains, are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace, that publisheth salvation, and saith unto Zion thy God reigneth.

Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem; for the Lord hath comforted his people. He hath redeemed Jerusalem. Hallelujah, Hallelujah! Praise ye the Lord.

I

19.

WILL lay me down in peace and take my rest; for it is thou, Lord, only that makest me dwell in safety. Salvation belongeth unto the Lord, and thy blessing is upon thy people.

20.

WHAT beauty, Lord, appears,

In thy courts of holy praise;
Unto thee my heart aspires,
Unto thee my voice I raise.

For who is like unto Him,

Mighty in love, mighty in power; Fountain of mercy, fountain of truth, Praise him, and lowly adore.

OTH not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?

Unto you, O men, I call, and my voice is to the sons of man.

I love them that love me, and those that seek me early shall find me:

Now, therefore, hearken unto me, O ye children; for blessed are they that keep my ways.

Hear instruction and be wise, and refuse it not.

Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. Amen.

RISEN Lord!

O Christ, ascended!

O Prince of Peace!

Thy toils on earth are ended,

And thou art on thine everlasting throne

adored.

O hear our songs,

O hear our prayers and praises,

O grant us peace.
Thy pilgrim Church still raises

Her ardent gaze to thee,

As for thy rest she longs.

Thou, Jesu', King,

To heaven ascending,

With gifts of peace,

Thy pierced palms extending,
Shed'st worlds of hope and joy,

To thee we sing Alleluia.

I

23.

WILL magnify thee, O God, my King, and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

Ev'ry day will I give thanks unto thee, and praise thy name for ever and ever.

The eyes of all wait upon thee, and thou givest them their meat in due

season.

Thou openest thine hand, and fillest all things living with plenteousness. Amen.

24.

S the hart pants after the water brooks, so panteth my soul for thee, O God.

Why, my soul, art thou so vexed? and why art thou cast down in me?

Trust thou in God, for I will yet give him great thanks; thanks for the help of his good countenance.

Praised be the Lord, the God of Israel, from henceforth and for evermore.

25.

BLESSED is he that considereth the

poor and needy.

The Lord shall deliver him in the time of trouble.

26.

ZION, O Zion, that bringest glad tidings, get thee up into the high mountains.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that bringest glad tidings, lift up thy voice with strength, and say unto Judah, Behold thy God. Glory to God in the highest, and peace on earth, good will towards men.

27.

WITH angels and archangels and

with all the company of heaven, we laud and magnify thy glorious name, evermore praising thee, and saying, Holy, Holy, Lord God of Hosts, heaven and earth are full of thy glory.

thee, O Lord most High.

Glory be to

Amen.
