MEAR. C. M. 223 I. 4 Am I a stranger, or at home, 'Tis my perpetual feast; POR ever blessed be the Lord, Not honey dropping from the comb My Saviour and my Shield; So much allures the taste. He sends his Spirit with his word, 5 No treasures so enrich the mind; To arm me for the field. Nor shall thy word be sold 2 When sin and hell their force unite, For loads of silver well refined, He makes my soul his care; Nor heaps of choicest gold. Instructs me in the heavenly fight, 6 When nature sinks, and spirits droop, And guards me through the war. Thy promises of grace Are pillars to support my hope; 3 A Friend and Helper so divine And there I write thy praise. 225 II. Amidst his Father's throne: Prepare new honors for his name, And songs before unknown. 0law! 2 Now to the Lamb that once was slain, 'Tis daily my delight: Be endless blessings paid; Salvation, glory, joy remain For ever on thy head. 2 My waking eyes prevent the day, 3 Thou hast redeemed our souls with To meditate thy word: Hast set the prisoners free, [blood, My soul with longing melts away, Hast made us kings and priests to God, To hear thy gospel, Lord.
