Hymn 28. C. M.
ORD, thou wilt hear me when I pray I am for ever thine :
I fear before thee all the day, Nor would I dare to sin.
2 And while I rest my weary head, From cares and business free, 'Tis sweet conversing on my bed With my own heart and thee.
3 I pay this ev'ning sacrifice; And when my work is done, Great God, my faith and hope relies Upon thy grace alone.
4 Thus, with my thoughts composed to peace,
I'll give mine eyes to sleep; Thy hand in safety keeps my days, And will my slumbers keep.
Hymn 29. S. M.
ELCOME, sweet day of rest, That saw the LORD arise :
Welcome to this reviving breast; And these rejoicing eyes! 2 The King himself comes near, And feasts his saints to-day: Here we may sit and see him here, And love, and sing and pray. 3 One day in such a place
Where thou, my God, art seon,
Ken thoh en te wa tyen onh teh, Enh tshi te wa ton ren.

Is sweeter than ten-thousand days Of pleasurable sin.
4 My willing soul would stay In such a frame as this, And sit and sing herself away To everlasting bliss.
AR from my thoughts, vain world, be Let my religious hours alone; Fain would my eyes my SAVIOUR See: I wait a visit, LORD, from thee. 2 My heart grows warm with holy fire, And kindles with a pure desire: Come, O my JESUS, from above, And feed my soul with heavenly love. 3 Haste then, but with a smiling face, And spread the table of thy grace: Bring down a taste of truth divine, And cheer my heart with sacred wine.
4 Blest JESUs, what delicious fare! How sweet thy entertainments are! Never did angels taste above Redeeming grace and dying love.

M throughout this day of thine,
Be in thy Spirit, LORD;
Spirit of humble fear divine, That trembles at thy word. 2 Spirit of faith, my heart to raise, And fix on things above; Spirit of sacrifice and praise, Of holiness and love.
Hymn 32. С. М. ND let this feeble body fail, And let it faint or die; My soul shall quit the mournful vale, And soar to worlds on high: 2 Shall join the disembodied saints, And find its long sought rest: That only bliss for which it pants In the REDEEMER's breast.
3 In hope of that immortal crown I now the cross sustain; And gladly wander up and down, And smile at toil and pain. 4 I suffer on my threescore years, Till my Deliverer come; And wipe away his servants' tears, And take his exile home.
5 O what hath Jesus bought for me! Before my ravish'd eyes,
