cho, the city of palm-trees, unto Zoar. And the Lord said
unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham,
unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy
seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou
shalt not go over thither. So Moses the servant of the Lord
died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the
Lord. And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab,
over against Beth-peor : but no man knoweth of his sepul-
chre unto this day.

raise up unto thee a prophet from the midst of thee, of thy
brethren like unto me: unto him ye shall hearken. AC-
cording to all that thou desirest of the Lord thy God in Ho-
reb, in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear
again the voice of the Lord my God, neither let me see this
great any more, that I die not. And the Lord said unto
me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like
unto thee, and will put my words in his niouth, and he shall
speak unto them all that I shall command him. For Moses
truly said unto the father's, A Prophet shall the Lord your
God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me, him
shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
