WINCHESTER OLD. C. M.
XCVIIL (1, 2, 3, 4.)
N. v. QING to the Lord a new-made song,
Of Israel's house His love and truth
Have ever mindful been ;
Wide earth's remotest parts the power The conquest He has won.
Of Israel's God have seen.
Their cheerful voices raise,
And all with universal joy In all the heathen's sight.
Resound their Maker's praise.
C. 1.-(1, 2, 3, 4.) 0. V.
II.—(1, 2, 3, 4, 5.) N. Y. AL LL people that on earth do dwell,
VITH one consent let all the earth Sing to the Lord with cheerful voice : To God their cheerful voices raise ; Him serve with fear, His praise forth tell, Glad homage pay with awful mirth, Come ye before Him and rejoice.
And sing before Him songs of praise. The Lord ye know is God indeed, Convinced that He is God alone,
Without our aid He did us make; From whom both we and all proceed ; We are His flock, He doth us feed, We, whom He chooses for His own,
And for His sheep He doth us take, The flock that He vouchsafes to feed, O enter then His gates with praise, O enter then His temple-gate,
Approach with joy His courts unto; Thence to His courts devoutly press, Praise, laud, and bless His Name always, And still your grateful hymns repeat, For it is seemly so to do,
And still His Name with praises bless. For why? the Lord our God is good, For He's the Lord, supremely good, His mercy is for ever sure;
His mercy is for ever sure; His truth at all times firmly stood, His truth, which always firmly stood, And shall from age to age endure.
To endless ages shall endure. • Tune of the 134th Psalm, in the Genevan Psalter,
CII. II.-(1, 2, 3, 4. 8. 12, 13.) N. v. My soul, inspired with sacred love,
God's holy Name for ever bless ; Of all His favours mindful prove,
And still thy grateful thanks express. Tis He that all thy sins forgives,
And after sickness makes thee sound; From danger He thy life retrieves,
By Him with grace and mercy.crown'd. The Lord abounds with tender love,
And unexampled acts of grace;
His willing mercy flows apace,
So far has He our sins removed,
CIII, III.-(19, 20, 21, 22.) N. v. MHE Lord, the universal King, TH
In heaven has fix'd His lofty throne; To Him, ye Angels, praises sing, In whose great strength His pow'r is
Ye that His just commands obey,
And hear and do His sacred will, Ye hosts of His, this tribute pay,
Who still what He ordains fulfil.
Let ev'ry creature jointly bless
The mighty Lord : and thou, my heart, With grateful joy thy thanks express,
And in this concert bear thy part.
